We love this book but sadly our book distributor is not planning to make this title a stock item, so we suggest that if you find we are out of stock, and/or would prefer to have a copy signed by Jeanette Brakewell, we suggest you go direct to the publisher who will despatch the title direct to you and in time for Christmas.

Just click here - or call 01400 250472.

For any horse enthusiast, child or adult, this book is going to be at the top of their Christmas list this year. The story of Over to You (Jack has he's been known by all who've known him), told in both words and pictures is utterly compelling and will at times bring tears to your eyes for the eventing world won't seem quite the same without the cheekiness, ebullience and character of Over to You. Together, Over to You and Jeanette Brakewell have been an inspiration to an entire generation of people.

Just read the testimonials and you'll see what we mean:

From Pippa Funnell - Jack is unique, and together he and Jeanette made an exceptional partnership. As part of the team we knew we could rely on them; even in the dressage which wasn't Jack's strongest phase he was totally consistent. Invariably, going first cross country he would give us so much confidence.

And from an aspiring young event rider - Jack first caught my eye when I was watching the Olympic games in 2000. I was just 8 years old and he reminded me so much of my little pony, Jester. How similar they look and behave too; liver chestnut, fine boned, wiry, very handsome, full-of-life, cheeky, but all heart, and like Jack, Jester's passion has always been the jumping and he puts up with the dressage knowing that something much more exciting comes next! Everytime I see Jester I think of Jack - a miniature version and he's even the same age.

A wonderful hardback gift edition that's incredibly reasonably priced with profits going to the charity 'Spinal Research'.

Over To You: Britain's Eventing Legend by Hilary Manners and Jeanette Brakewell

Over To You is the most medalled horse in British Eventing history. Ridden by Jeanette Brakewell throughout his career the pair have won four European Team Gold medals, two Olympic Team Silver medals, one World Team Bronze medal and in 2000 an Individual World Silver medal, as well as finishing in the top 10 at Badmintion five times.

Over To You: Britain's Eventing Legend is packed with colour photographs and charts his life, from his birth in Ireland to his retirement from competition in 2008 at the age of 20.

A percentage of all sales will be given to the charity 'Spinal Research'. Established in 1980, it is one of the leading International charitable organisations funding reseach into spinal cord repair.

"Over To You's record speaks for itself. Both at the big events at home and at Championships his performance has been second to none. It shows his ability, resilience and enjoyment of the sport and exemplifies Jeanette's training and horse management." William Fox-Pitt, British Team Rider

"No Horse deserves to have a book written about him more then Over To You. His consistent performances gave everyone a bench mark to aim for. His international team record was outstanding and will be very hard for any equine athlete to equal, never mind beat." Yogi Breisner, British Team Coach

"Everyone with an interest in eventing in this county owes so much to Over To You - just think how many medals might have slipped through Britain's fingers without him. It has been a privilege to follow his career." Pippa Roome, Eventing Editor, Horse & Hound
