Echoes of Scotland Street by Samantha Young

Sarah Broadhurst's view...

A sexy, emotional drama of an abused and battered girl, Shannon, who finally leaves her truly bad relationship and runs to her brother for protection. Her brother, incensed and enraged, beats the boyfriend up and they both get sent to prison; a shame for her brother. Naturally her family blame Shannon. She flees from Glasgow to Edinburgh and lands herself a job in a tattoo parlour where she becomes hopelessly attracted to one of her colleagues, a tattooed ,disreputable looking fellow. Shannon is terrified of another ‘bad’ relationship and shies away. How the pair fence round each other is the crux of this raunchy, highly recommended read. It is part of the On Dublin Street series.

If you like Samantha Young you might also like to read books by Beth Kery, Jamie McGuire and Christine Lauren.

Synopsis

Echoes of Scotland Street by Samantha Young

Shannon MacLeod has always gone for the wrong type of man. After she drifted from one toxic relationship to the next, her last boyfriend gave her a wake-up call in the worst possible way. With her world shattered, she's sworn off men - especially those of the bad-boy variety. Cole Walker is exactly the sort that Shannon wants to avoid - gorgeous, tattooed, charming, and cocky. But his rough exterior hides a good man - one who's determined to pull Shannon from her self-imposed solitude and win her heart. As Shannon begins to open up, the passion between them ignites to blazing levels. But when her past comes back to haunt her, her fears may destroy the trust Cole has built between them - and tear them apart for good ...
