A captivating collection of stories that have the ability to conspire against and confound your thoughts and understanding. If you haven't previously read any of Michael Moorcock’s work, you can confidently begin here with some of his most significant tales, don’t forget to pack an open mind though as you step forth. The joy of this collection is that it’s incredibly diverse, however there are some linking stories and characters, plus the meaning of humanity and time does manage to stealthily weave it’s way through the pages. You may well discover a favourite story in this selection, it may surprise you though as to which one it turns out to be. This is a roller coaster of a ride, your brain on occasion will almost manage to catch up, then with another twist, it is thrown free and left again to wonder at the fantastic turn of Moorcock’s mind. ~ Liz Robinson
