Oxford International Women's Festival is just around the corner, running from Thursday 28th February to Sunday 17th March 2019.
The Festival began 30 years ago, hosting an aray of topics from the Arts to the Sciences; the festival has been about women's creativity and raising issues on women's rights. The festival covers a variety of campaigns such as those concerned with homelessness and sweated labour.
The theme for this year is 'We will survive and thrive' which falls into three parts. Firstly, a refelction on the last 30 years, being the successes and failures which have affected women's lives in Oxford, both nationally and internationally. The second part being present issues which may affect women's lives and finally, the festival features it's hopes for the future.
