It's International Day of Happiness and this year's theme being 'share Happiness' which focuses on importance of relationships, kindness and helping each other.
A good way to help boost your happiness is to read books focusing in on positivity and well-being!
As this year's theme is sharing happiness, why not think of some ways to share your own happiness? You could make a timeline of all your best memories or write them down in a book. Another way of celebrating happiness could be hosting an event or finding new inspiration- a good way could be reading an inspiring book!
A great read is by the Buddhist Monk Matthieu Ricard, with his positivity book: 'Happiness A Guide to Developing Life's Most Important Skill' where his jargon free book shows that happiness isn't just an emotion, but a skill that can be developed. You can find this book here.
Reading books is a great way to boost happiness, whether it's reading a brand new feel-good relationship story, re-reading your favourite crime fiction book or hunkering down with the latest thriller.
