Zaheer-Ud-Din Babar is a Professor of Medicines and Healthcare and the Director of the  Centre of Pharmaceutical Policy and Practice Research at the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom. A pharmacist by training, Prof Babar is the recipient of the prestigious “Research Excellence Award” from the University of Auckland. He understands the global health and pharmacy systems, and is known for his work in pharmaceutical policy and practice, including quality use of medicines, access to medicines, medicine prices and issues related to pharmacoeconomics.
