Dr Sumita Mehta is Senior Specialist and In-charge, Obstetrics & Gynecology at Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital, Delhi. She graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College and completed her postgraduate degree at Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University. She is a certified trainer for colposcopy for the state of Delhi as well as the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) and was the secretary of the Indian Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ISCCP). She is an executive member of National Association for Reproductive & Child Health Care of India (NARCHI) and has previously also served as an executive member and editor for the Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of Delhi. She has conducted several colposcopy workshops all over India and has delivered numerous lectures in various academic forums.
