Dr. Shawn Joseph's passion for educating children and adults has led him to serve in a number of positions in the world of education. He has been an English teacher, a reading specialist, a team leader, an assistant principal, a principal, and a central office administrator. He is also the author of numerous peer-reviewed articles focusing on principal preparation, and his research interests include principal preparation, principal development, school improvement planning, and school/community relationships.Dr. Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, a Masters in Education from The Johns Hopkins University, and a Doctorate in Education from The George Washington University.In 2009, Dr. Joseph was honored by his peers as the National Association of Secondary School Administrator's Met-Life Middle School Principal of the Year for the State of Maryland.
