Dr.Salah Ud-Din Khan is Associate Professor at Sustainable Energy Technologies Center, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.He also gained a position of Fellow at K.A.CARE energy research center at Riyadh. Prior to joining KSU, he served as Assistant Professor, Visiting Scientist, Researcher, and Lecturer at various institutes and universities. He received his PhD in Nuclear Engineering and gained higher achievements in the field of nuclear reactor safety while conducting an impressive amount of work on NK/TH coupling and in reactor core design. His work in designing and simulation of reactors (SMRs) is well proven and has been published in highly reputed journals. His area of research is broadening to nuclear desalination, nuclear hydrogen production, nuclear solar hybridization, energy storage, radiological protection, nuclear forensics, and computational techniques for radiation shielding materials.
