Roger Thurow is a journalist and author who writes about the persistence of hunger and malnutrition in our world. He was a reporter at the Wall Street Journal for thirty years. He is, with Scott Kilman, the author of Enough: Why the World’s Poorest Starve in an Age of Plenty, which won the Harry Chapin WhyHunger book award, as well as two other books on world hunger. He is a recipient of Action Against Hunger’s Humanitarian Award. He and his wife Anne live in Auburn, Alabama, where he is a scholar-in-residence at Auburn University’s Hunger Solutions Institute.
