Books By Nicolae Herisanu - Author

Nicolae Herisanu is currently professor at University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania (UPT) where he taught and researched in the fields of theoretical and applied mechanics, acoustics and vibration for almost 30 years. He wrote together with Vasile Marinca two outstanding monographs published by Springer in 2011 and 2015. For the second monograph, he was awarded the prize of the Romanian Academy in 2017. He is currently a member of the editorial board of several reputable journals. He was involved in many national and international research projects. Vasile Marinca is presently corresponding member of the Romanian Academy and senior researcher at the Centre for Fundamental Technical Research (CCTFA) within the Romanian Academy, branch of Timisoara. He was previously professor at University Politehnica Timisoara, Romania, where he taught and researched in the fields of theoretical and applied mechanics and applied mathematics for about 40 years.
