Colonel (Retired) Larry C. James PhD, is the Chief of Behavioral Medicine Service at the Tripler Army Medical Center Hawaii and is the former Dean and Professor of the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University. Dr James is also a retired Army Colonel and the former Chair, Department of Psychology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center directing weight loss programs and conducting bariatric surgery psychological evaluation since 1994. Dr James is a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Health Psychologists and he has been seen as a national leader in the development of innovative obesity treatment programs.
