Dr. Kajal Kumar Biswas, presently working as Principal Scientist and Teaching Faculty of Plant Virology, Division of Plant Pathology, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi, did his M.Sc (Ag) in Plant Pathology in BCKV, Mohanpur in 1992, and completed his PhD in Plant Pathology (Plant Virology) at IARI, New Delhi, in 1997. He did his Post Doctorate in University of Florida, Gainesville, USA during 2002-2004 and obtained advanced training in Molecular Plant Virology. He has also worked as Scientist in Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture (CRIDA), Hyderabad and Senior Scientist and In-charge, IARIRegional Station, Kalimpong (West Bengal). He has been awarded the Prof. M. J.
