Geva Mentor is widely regarded as the best netball player in the world. Selected for England at just 15 years of age, Geva has built a career around athleticism, the ability to read the play and a desire to do what's needed to be the very best. Moving to Australia to play with the Adelaide Thunderbirds, she achieved success, including a Premiership and Grand Final Most Valuable Player award. In 2010, Geva moved to Melbourne to join the Vixens. She had continued success, winning the 2014 Premiership, three club Best & Fairest and two Runner up awards in the six years she played for them. In 2017 Geva moved to the Sunshine Coast, leading the Sunshine Coast Lightning to the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball Premiership. Geva was honoured to be selected Captain in an incredibly strong playing group and she led by example all year with numerous best on court performances.
