Dr. Gautam Sengupta is former Professor and Head, Department of English, Gurudas College, University of Calcutta, Kolkata. Presently, he is Visiting Faculty at Shri Shikshayatan College, Department of English, University of Calcutta and School of Women's Studies, Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata. Author of Myriad-minded Shaw (PHI Learning, 2016), he has been the lone academician to represent the Indian sub-continent in the International Shaw Conferences, South Florida, USA (2004) and London, UK (2013).
