Florence L. Denmark is the Robert Scott Pace Distinguished Research Professor at Pace University. A social psychologist who has published extensively on the psychology of women and gender, Professor Denmark has long been an energetic force in advancing psychology internationally. She served as the 88th president of the American Psychological Association and has been a president of the International Council of Psychologists, Eastern Psychological Association, New York State Psychological Association, and Psi Chi. She was also a vice-president of the New York Academy of Sciences. Professor Denmark has four honorary doctorates and is the recipient of many awards, including APA's Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training, Public Interest and the Advancement of International Psychology.
