Manila Castoro is an art historian and theorist and research associate at the University of Kent, where she has also regularly taught modules in art history, photography, and aesthetics. Her research focuses on the history and theory of street photography, on the relationship between photography and chance, and on the aesthetics of indistinct photographs.
