Her research focuses on exploring the causes and consequences of rumination. Using both cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-focused therapies, she applies her and others’ empirical findings to help clients suffering from maladaptive rumination. She has published her findings in various peer-reviewed psychology journals. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Southern California.
