Inside you will find 3 books written without knowing how it all would end. Book #1 The Death of The Promise Book #2 The Resurrection of The Promise Book #3 The Land of The Promise I did not realize until I was prompted to write Book #3 that I had been working on a trilogy. The common theme seemed to come together as I was becoming a witness to The Faith of the First-Century Church. Jesus gives us a clear example of this faith in the Parable of The Ten Virgins. The five wise virgins lived in anticipation and preparation of the soon coming Bridegroom. The five foolish virgins did not and were locked out. Paul gives us an apostle's view of this faith in 2 Timothy 4:7&8 as he writes, '... I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge will award to me on that day (Day) - and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.' In Ephesians 4, Paul instructs teachers and preachers to make every effort to bring about unity of The Faith in The Body of Christ. The writer of Hebrews gives us this definition, 'Faith is being sure of what is hoped for and certain of what we do not (yet) see.', 11:1. This is The Faith in The Second Coming and the awarding of eternal life. This fulfills The Promise of resurrection God made to Abraham. It is an error to believe that salvation is awarded to anyone prior to this event. It is a promise until Jesus comes back and can never to be possessed this side of the grave. 'I declare to you brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.' 1Corinthians 15:50

1 and 2 Thessalonians: Audio Bible Studies: Keep Calm and Carry On
The Bible Study Source series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, 40 Days Through the Book includes high-quality, live audio sessions from the author that cover this important Bible-based topic. These sessions will reflect the ambiance of the unique recording locations, immersing the listener into the teaching. In 40 Days Through the Book of 1 & 2 Thessalonians, bestselling author and pastor Levi Lusko guides small-group members through Paul's letter to the believers in the city of Thesslonica, revealing what the apostle's words meant to his original readers . . . and how they apply to us today. Participants will be encouraged as they listen to Levi's teachings and, though the accompanying study guide, challenged to read the books of 1 & 2 Thessalonians on their own during the forty days they spend together in the study. The 40 Days Through the Book series has been designed to help believers more actively engage with God's Word. Each study encourages participants to read through one book in the New Testament at least once during the course of 40 days (approximately 6 weeks of meetings) and will provide them with (1) a clear understanding of the background and culture in which the book was written, (2) insights into key passages of Scripture, and (3) clear applications and takeaways from the particular book that participants can apply to their lives. Each study will be recorded in the author's place of residence and will highlight stories and applications that are relevant to his or her ministry in that area.

In 1 John: Audio Lectures author and New Testament scholar Karen Jobes seeks to bridge the distance between academic biblical studies and pastors, students, and laypeople who are looking for an in-depth treatment of the issues raised by these New Testament books. She approaches the three letters of John as part of the corpus that includes John's gospel, while rejecting an elaborate redactional history of that gospel that implicates the letters. Jobes treats the major themes of the letters under the larger rubric of who has the authority to interpret the true significance of Jesus, an issue that is pressing in our religiously pluralistic society today with its many voices claiming truth about God. These audio lectures examine the literary context and structure of each passage in 1 John and provides verse-by-verse commentary and theology in application.
