From Daniel to Doomsday: The Countdown Has Begun
Day of Judgment, Day of Apocalypse, End of the World-call it what you will, but as the millennium approaches, people's thoughts are turning toward that final reckoning. Will the world as we know it end during the year 2000? Do the rumblings from Wall Street foretell an economic collapse? This is the most complete, far-reaching book Hagee has written about the end times. John Hagee says, 'The world as we know it will end, neither with a bang nor a whimper, but in stages clearly set forth in God's Word.' His latest and most provocative book takes a cue from a cultural icon, the ticking clock. Hagee presents a prophetic 'Doomsday Clock' and counts down the minutes-through prophetic events-which must occur before that fateful moment when every unredeemed individual must face God on Judgment Day. Citing examples from national and international media and using Scripture to confirm his insights, he presents a compelling argument to prove that time is indeed running out.

When God Doesn't Fix It: Audio Bible Studies: Learning to Walk in God's Plans Instead of Our Own
Is it possible for our faith in God to deepen despite loss, heartache, struggle, and pain? Worship leader and recording artist Laura Story's life testifies that God doesn't promise to save us from all hardship. No matter how hard we pray, sometimes our circumstances don't change. Laura's own story took an unexpected turn when her husband, Martin, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The devastating news forever changed their lives and challenged Laura's belief in the little control she thought she had. Her discovery: that her struggles to accept her new situation ended up convincing her even more strongly of God's faithfulness and love. In this five-session study, Laura shares her deeply personal testimony and renewed hope to help us: - Examine the promises of the gospel and what the Bible says about our experiences here on Earth. - See how the hardships endured by some of the men and women of the Bible teach us how God works in our lives to bring us closer to him. - Understand that the possibility exists for a deeper intimacy with God, whose everlasting promises remain no matter what happens in this life. Naomi: Audio Bible Studies: When I Feel Worthless, God Says I’m Enough
The women in the Bible asked the same three questions we all still ask today: How does everyone else see me? How do I see myself? How does God see me? Naomi's story, found in the book of Ruth, is a story of lost identity. She lost her husband and her sons, which in her culture left her completely without a home or a means to support herself. She was a Hebrew woman in Moabite territory, alone among strangers. She reacted by letting her circumstances define her. But even in her angry, fearful, rather dramatic season of feeling like the victim, God kept showing his faithfulness. This Bible study will take you through Naomi's journey from comfort and security to despair and bitterness; from hopeless drifting to faithful obedience; and from loss to redemption in one short lifetime. We'll learn that when we go through trauma, loss, and hardship, it's normal to feel Just. So. Done. Yet God remains close. He is not done. He can and will redeem even in our darkest circumstances. Sessions include: - When Hard Times Hit (26:00) - Behind the Scenes (17:00) - Better than Being Fixed (17:00) - From Bitter to Blessed (19:00) Coordinating study guide available separately. Life Is _____: Audio Bible Studies: God's Illogical Love Will Change Your Existence
Simple Truths to Find Love, Enjoyment, Trust, and Peace with God What is life? What are we here for? What is truly important? What will bring authentic satisfaction and lasting happiness? We all ask these questions, and we all have a right to come to our own conclusions. In this follow-up to his New York Times and USA Today bestseller Jesus Is , Judah completes this sentence as to what "life is," revealing how it is to be loved and to love, to enjoy God to the fullest, to trust God in every moment, and to be at peace with God, others, and ourselves. Judah writes as a friend, welcoming to the discussion new believers, lifelong followers of Jesus, and even the merely curious. In this six-session study, Judah shows us the irrational love of God and the life that he intends for us to have in the here and now. With excitement and humor, he looks at the stories in the Bible from a different angle and shows how life is all about loving God and loving others. The Lord's Prayer: The Meaning and Power of the Prayer Jesus Taught
The power and significance of the prayer Jesus taught. Most Christians know the Lord's Prayer by heart. We pray it often, at different times and in different settings. We remember it as the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples. But do we really understand and appreciate the meaning and power of its words, what we ask of God each time we pray it? When the disciples asked Jesus how to pray, Jesus gave them this prayer. He likely taught it to his followers often, not just one time. He never intended the Lord's Prayer to be a museum piece, framed and placed on a mantel or in a display case. It was Jesus teaching God's people, through his disciples, how to pray. In The Lord's Prayer: The Meaning and Power of the Prayer Jesus Taught, pastor and bestselling author Adam Hamilton guides us to really know-and really pray-the Lord's Prayer. He explores each of its rich lines and their meaning in the Bible, illuminating what we ask of God and what we ask of ourselves through its words. And he teaches us how to use it as a pattern for our own prayer life.

While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. (Matthew 17:5) The Christ many preach and write about is not the real Christ. The Christ of many Evangelical, Protestant, and Catholic churches today is not the actual Christ Jesus who once walked this earth and whom men saw and studied and knew – the Christ who was the incarnate Word of God and the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. He is not the Christ who once lived and died and was raised again. The Christ many talk about today is a pure figment of their own imagination which they have substituted for the actual Christ of history, the Christ who once lived here on earth and who now lives in glory. There is, however, a perfect portrayal of the real Christ, the Christ of actual fact, in all of His many characteristics and complete love, holiness, zeal, and glory. That portrait is from God’s own Word, the Bible. It is found in the preview of the coming Christ given to the Old Testament prophets, and in the life, ministry, and words of the Lord Jesus Christ as He actually moved among men, as documented by His disciples in the books of the New Testament. We have a threefold objective in studying the real Christ: 1. That we may see Him in all His moral glory: The glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth, and we may therefore admire and love and glorify Him as we ought. 2. That we may become like Him when we see Him, or as 2 Corinthians 3:18 puts it: We all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. 3. That in Him we may have a standard for our own conduct, or as John puts it in our third text: He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked (1 John 2:6).

Coming Events and Present Duties: What the Bible Tells Us Clearly about Christ’s Return
We live in troubled and dangerous times. It has been a long time since there have been as many ideas and events in our world causing fear and anxiety as there are today. But one thing, in any event, is clear, and that is the duty of Christians to search more diligently than ever the prophetic Scriptures. Do not be like the Jews at the first advent who were blind to the hand of God and the fulfillment of His purposes in all that was going on in the world. Let us instead remember that the word of prophecy is given to be a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise (2 Peter 1:19). Let us walk in that light. Let us search what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them [the prophets] did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:11). Let us compare prophecies fulfilled with prophecies unfulfilled and attempt to make the one illustrate the other. Let us strive, above all, to obtain clear views of the things we should be expecting, both in the church and the world, before the end comes and time will be no more.

Obadiah: Audio Lectures: 7 Lessons on History, Meaning, and Application
The Zondervan Biblical and Theological Lectures series provides a unique audio learning experience. Unlike a traditional audiobook's direct narration of a book's text, Obadiah: Audio Lectures include high quality live-recordings of college-level lectures that cover the important points from each subject as well as relevant material from other sources. Designed for the pastor and Bible student, Obadiah: Audio Lectures, together with the accompany text on Obadiah from the Zondervan Exegetical Commentary on the Old Testament, brings to light the universal scope of God's sovereignty and mercy. With careful analysis and interpretation of the Hebrew text, professor and scholar Daniel Block traces the flow of argument in the book of Obadiah, showing that how a biblical author says something is just as important as what they say. Obadiah is the shortest book in the Old Testament, and full of warnings against pride and the Day of the Lord. This short book contains important themes that connect to both the Old and New Testaments. Each lecture offers the main idea of the passage, its literary context, the author's original translation and exegetical outline with Hebrew layout, its structure and literary form, an explanation of the text, and its canonical and practical significance for us today.
