Yep, their thing has everything to do with pranks. Nothing to do with an insanity-in-a-bucket attraction. It's not like he's drop-dead gorgeous and has infinite charisma or anything.
His brain isn't Donald Duck, Einstein, and Shakespeare in one mischievous swirl either.
Nope! The girls of Blossom Field Avenue #246 and the Dudes of #247 are at prank war. The Dudes are about to get upstaged. It's the prank of the ages! Perfect. Legendary. Life-altering.
Wait: baby-inducing?
No worries, though. When pranks OD on love, the Dudes and the Blossoms know exactly what to do.
Saki has always followed the Blossom girls' house rules:
1) Thou shalt prank the Dudes, thy beautiful fraternity neighbors, all day, every day.
2) Thou shalt not lose thy heart to them: no fraternizing with the arch-frat-enemy.
Easy enough, right? Minor complication #1: Saki gets warm all over whenever she sees Picasso, the dark-haired, hyper-sensual painting student with bright grey eyes over there in the Dude den. Minor complications #2-5: Picasso is head-over-heels for Saki, has an obsessive personality, and craves working her up. He brushes up against her, so close she shivers. Soon, he even visits her at night!
Saki and Picasso's attraction is electric, and their relationship flingtastic.
How long can they keep it hidden? They're star-crossed lovers the prankster way!
But their problems fade when every seedy detail of the Dude/Blossom prank war is outed in a newspaper article. Now, all efforts are put into finding the mole, fighting with the arch-frat-enemy . . . and avoid being deemed guilty. Just another day on Blossom Field Avenue #246 and #247.
There were three things I didn't know when I moved into the all-girls, non-sorority house Blossom Field Avenue #246:
1) The house opposite ours, #247, is home to the gorgeous jerks of the Iota Fraternity.
2) Lucian Spencer Anderson lives in #247 and is possibly the hottest stripper-slash-social-science student you'll ever meet.
3) #246 (The Blossoms) and #247 (The Dudes) have the longest standing, most ruthless prank war in the history of rivalries.
The only thing the two houses agree on is that they live and breathe for the next battle. But the real challenge is the one I never saw coming: an alliance with Lucian. When a cold winter threatens the stray cats of Deepsilver, our mutual love for animals forces us to team up. Bad, right? Well, it gets worse: we're going to need the cooperation of our two houses to pull this thing off.
