The Book Show on Sky Arts, hosted by writer and presenter Mariella Frostrup, features a selection of today's top authors and books from classics to children's.
With each show its popularity grows and for the 4th year running Sky Arts is broadcasting a special series of shows that are filmed every day at the Guardian Hay Festival, the UK's premier literary festival.

Over the course of the festival we will have a special section on our site where you can find out more about the authors and books that Mariella will be talking about. You can read extracts from these books free of charge.

You will find the special shows broadcast on Sky Arts 1 (channel 256 or 258 in HD) every day at 7pm for the duration of the festival. 29 May - 06 June.
