Right from the start it is pretty obvious who is going to end up with whom here but finding out how that occurs is the most enormous fun. Lady Xenobia, also known as India, is left orphaned with only her title to support her. She’s a plucky girl who makes it known that she can help to rejuvenate stately homes and in this case, its occupant. With some poetic licence taken on the period, and explained at the end, this is an infectious romp. Great fun.

If you like Eloisa James you might also like to read books by Liz Carlyle, Amanda Quick and Georgette Heyer.

Exquisite, head-strong, and independent, India vows to make Thorn marriageable in just three weeks. But neither Thorn nor India anticipate the forbidden passion that explodes between them. Thorn will stop at nothing to make India his. Failure is not an option. But there is only one thing that will make India his ...the one thing Thorn can't afford to lose ...his fierce and lawless heart.
