Tackling battered wives, an arranged marriage and sadly damaged people, this is a sensitive work full of people you really care for. Ayesha and her silent 8-year old daughter escape an abusive arranged marriage and through a stroke of luck end up boarding in a Hampstead mansion owned by a reclusive ex-pop star. What a lovely scenario which develops into a completely charming tale with its ups and downs, drama and tears, laughter and love, a pure delight. Highly recommended.
