A book to delight , a seasonal celebration of tradition, magic, custom and folklore. The text and little random thoughts and sayings punctuating the beautiful collage style illustrations making some stunning still life scenes using found objects. The book has dash and style and there are little treasures to be found too, a good luck charm, a postcard and a folded pocket for some notes and messages at the back. There are things to do, things to celebrate the year as it progresses from bleak January through to Christmas with delicious recipes to celebrate feasts and festivals. A gorgeous book to marvel over and enjoy for many a year, a great family treat. ~ Sue Baker
